Weend'ô - Time of Awakening (2017)

The second album from this French band.

Weend'o is a quartet with a lineup of drums, programming, bass, clavier, guitars and female vocals.
They had help from Alan Reed and Jeremie Mazan on vocals.

I reviewed their 2012 debut album You Need To Know Yourself back in August 2012 for # 1 of this blog. You can find my review here.

This band is a female fronted progressive rock band. Their brand of progressive rock is neo-prog with some folk rock and some pop music influences.

Their music reminds me a lot about Panic Room too.

Their clavinet, bass, drums and guitars lineup restricts their sound a bit. Some acoustic instruments would had been a good idea. Ms. Laetitia Chaudemanche's very good vocals is the dominating factor in their music.

Music which is not bad at all. The music ticks all the boxes...... but not the one for great songs and originality.

Nevertheless, this is a good album. It is also worth checking out.
