Rishloo - Terras Fames (2004)

The debut album from this US band.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of bass, drums, guitars and vocals.

This album were their self-released debut album and it caused quite a furore......

I have their four albums and will review them asap this year. This as a part of the full discos reviews I do.

The band's music is not easy to pinpoint. Take a lot of grunge, add some psych and a lot of post-metal too. Then add a lot of Radiohead too. Then you get a lot of what is going on here.

The music is by no means easy-listening. Most of the music is pretty jarring and dissonant. We are talking a new form of progressive rock here.

This is indeed progressive rock who is looking forward and not back to the past, the 1970s.

This fifty minutes long album is not offering up much good music. There are some bits here and there with good music.

This is a decent album though but nothing more than that.
