Canturbe - Bonpland (1983)

The second album from this Argentine band.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of harmonica, bass, guitars, drums, percussion and Spanish vocals.

I very much liked their 1980 debut album and was therefore looking forward to this album.

The band had stripped down their sound on Bonpland. The sound and music.

There are still some progressive rock around here. Thank goodness for that......

The main genre here is Latin-Pop. That with some bossa nova and some folk rock influences.

The sound is pretty poor and so is the music.

This is the first album I have heard for a long time where even the good vocals cannot save this album from being included in my collection of turkeys. This is indeed an awful album.
