Brast Burn - Debon (1975)

The one and only album from this band from Japan.

The band was a trio with percussion, synths and vocals.

Brast Burn is another Japanese band who went down the krautrock path. There is a handful of these bands and they were all short-lived bands. One-album-bands. All of them very obscure.

The band has the same setup as Amon Duul.

Very primitive krautrock in other words.

The forty-six minutes long album is divided into two pieces. Debon # 1 and Debon # 2.

The first piece is very primitive and on par with the first Amon Duul album. In other words, pretty poor.

The band expands their sound and music a lot on # 2 though where synths and some psalm like vocal lines is included. This is pretty good music.

Do not give up on this album after # 1. The best part is # 2 and it is well worth checking out.

This is a pretty decent album and worth checking out.
