Condor - Viaggio (1985)
The one and only album from this Italian band.
The band was a trio with a lineup of guitars, keyboards and Italian vocals.
The band had help from a bassist and a drummer.
It is pretty hard to believe that this album actually was recorded in 1984 and released in 1985 on a private pressing. But that is the fact.
The reason is that the music on this forty odd minutes long album sounds like Italian progressive rock, RPI, from 1967 or thereabout.
Take a big chunk of Italian pop music, add some soft progressive rock and some folk rock. Then you get this album.
The music is very soft and melodic with lots of vocal harmonies.
It is so 1967, this album.
It does not have any of the ills from the 1980s. The sound is really retro too.
The music is OK and flowery with a lot of guitars and keyboards generated strings. It is a lot of housewives pop music on this album.
It is not an interesting album and this album will forever remain very obscure, only visited by die-hard RPI fans. People like myself. It is a decent enough album though.
