Moon Letters - Until They Feel the Sun (2019)

The debut album from this US band.

The band is a quintet with a lineup of trumpet, bass, keyboards, drums, guitars, percussion, flute and vocals.

The band is from Seattle up in the north-west of USA and the band does not play grunge...... Sorry, just had to mention it.

Instead of grunge, the band plays pretty much heavy neo-prog with a lot of symphonic prog influences.

Being American, the album has also got some AOR and US prog influences.

The music is both melodic and interesting at the same time. The band gives us fifty minutes of intricate keyboards, vocals harmonies and guitars based music where flute and trumpet adds a lot of intricate details and textures too.

The music is indeed flowery and full of colours.

There is no real great piece of music here. Nevertheless,  this is an album that will please most of those into melodic intricate progressive rock. It is indeed a good album.
