Rishloo - Living As Ghosts With Buildings As Teeth (2014)

The fourth and so far final album from this US band.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of guitars, bass, drums and vocals.

Their first three albums has been a mixed bag to say at least. But the common denominator has been lots of aggression and a post-metal, post-punk sound and attitude.

Most of the music has been post-punk and post-metal too.

Their 2009 album Feathergun saw the band move a lot towards Radiohead. The result was a good album.

Their new Living As Ghosts With Buildings As Teeth is also in the same vein as Feathergun. Although with a pretty big difference....

The band has incorporated a lot from their first two albums Terras Fames and Eidolon too on this album.

The result is a manic, muscular version of the music Radiohead plays.

The vocals are really good and ditto for the guitars.

The end result is a good album which will please a lot of people into new non-conventional progressive rock.
