The fourth album from this US band.
The band is a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
This is one of the US bands who has been flying below the radar for some years. Their music is pretty commercial and that is not a problem.
I reviewed their third album, the 2005 album Wake Pigs earlier for this blog and I was not a big fan.
The End Is Begun takes us through a landscape full of power teenybop pop, a bit Radiohead art-rock and some metal.
The music is more melodic on this album than on the rather harsh and naked sounding Wake Pigs. There are more vocal harmonies here.
The music is still too much nu-metal sounding and does not have much quality. Linkin Park springs to mind and I am not overly impressed.
Check it out if all above sounds like your kind of music.
