Gandalf - Gandalf (1977)

The one and only album from this Swedish band.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of flute, drums, bass, organ, guitars and vocals.

The album was self-released and it is sold for an insane amount of money on Discogs. The album is as obscure as it gets.

The album was probably recorded in a pretty bad studio too. The mix and sound is pretty sub-standard.

The music is a mix of rock, some punk and some heavy prog. Half of the album is in Swedish and the other half is in English.

The vocals is OK. The guitars is half-decent. The rest of the band is hanging on for dear life.... and fails.

This album deserve to be an obscure album because the quality of the music is dire. This is indeed a turkey of an album.
