East Of Eden - New Leaf (1971)

The fourth album from this British band.

The band was a quintet on this album with a lineup of guitars, bass, saxophone, drums, violin and vocals.

After their two first avant-garde prog albums, the band totally changed direction on their third album and become a much more of a folk rock album.

The band continues down the same path here with a mix of blues, folk and country music.

There is also some soul music here too.

The vocalist David Arbus does a very good job on  the vocals. The rest of the band is not of his standards.

This album is almost forty minutes long and there is not a single good song here.

There are some sprinkling of half-good details but that is all.

This is a decent enough album and barely that. This is not an album worth checking out.
