SBB - Pamięć (1975)

The second album from this band from Poland.

The band was a trio with a lineup of percussion, drums, bass, guitars, grand piano, organ, electric piano, moog and vocals.

There is two versions of this album. The original forty minutes long version and the Metal Mind version lasting almost twice as long with bonus tracks. My review is as always of the original version although I would recommend purchasing the Metal Mind version.

Forty minutes... three tracks. The longest one clocking in at twenty minutes.

I really liked their debut album and was looking forward to review the highly rated Pamiec album... this album.

The Polish vocals almost sounds like Italian vocals and there is also a lot of other things that reminds me about the RPI scene on this album. That is a good thing in my view.

SBB is SBB though.... The music is symphonic and changes between epic and pastoral many times during these forty minutes.

The music is also dynamic and changes between different melodies and sounds.

This album is indeed a very good album and one of the better albums ever to have come out of Poland. I do understand this band's good reputation based on these two albums and is looking forward to listen to more albums from this band.
