Bottega Del Tempo A Vapore. La - Il Guerriero Errante (2016)

The debut album from this Italian band.

The band was a sextet with a lineup of guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, sax and vocals.
A guest musician provided libretto.

The band has so far released two albums and I got both of them up for review this week.

The band is listed as a progressive metal band in most places. Progressive metal, it is..... with a large twist of the tale.

There is indeed some progressive metal here. There is also some djent here.

There is also some eclectic RPI here. Area and Picchio Dal Pozzo springs to mind. Then we get a lot of Italian folk rock too.

The band mixes up these genres and makes their own sound and music.

The vocals are in Italian and pretty good. The sound is good and this should have been a good album.

It is in sore need of some better songs, though. This is still a decent to good debut album and well worth checking out.
