East Of Eden - Another Eden (1975)

The fifth album from this British band.

The band was a quartet on this album with a lineup of keyboards, violin, bass, drums, guitars and vocals.

This band has had has perplexing career and artistic output.

They started out as an avant-garde band with a lot of raga rock influences. Their first two albums is semi-classic albums. Mostly because they are sooooooo far out avant-garde.

They followed up those two albums with some country and folk rock albums.

Another Eden is more a mix of blues and folk rock.

The vocals is really good and the best thing here. The music has a mix of mostly guitars and violin. These two lead instruments and the vocals is backed up by some hard hitting take no prisoners bass and drums.

The music is therefore pretty hard and merciless.

.... Which is the opposite of the cover art-work. A very misleading art-work indeed.

The quality is not too bad. It is barely a decent album, the vocals being the saving grace here.
