King Crimson - Heaven and Earth (2000)

The 14th album from this British band.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, warr bass, guitars, effects and synths.

This album is a left over album of ditties and tapes from The Construction Of Light album from the same year.

I am not entirely sure why this was not released as a bonus disc to that album instead of releasing it as a full album.

But they have gone for a full album and I feel a bit cheated now.

There are some decent stuff here and some bits of tapes which should have remained archive stuff and been released as a bonus disc or in an archives box. Not in an official album.

King Crimson has always been very eclectic and gone their own way so I guess this is the reason for this rather pointless album.

This is still a half decent album with some of the best musicians in the scene. Nevertheless.....
