Colour Haze - Colour Haze (2005)

The sixth album from this German band.

The band was again a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.

Colour Haze was well into their stride by now after some very good albums. And also probably with a ditto dedicated following.

That is why I commend and admire them for this album.

The album is a distinct departure from their all out outer space rock. The band takes their music to another land...... or make that another galaxy.

The space rock is still here..... but they have also incorporated some symphonic prog and some psych rock too.

There is also some avant-garde nodding off in the middle of this album and that is a let down as this avant-garde is uninspiring and pointless.

We still get some really dirty space rock themes on this album. The band really knows how to take the listener on a journey to the outer space.

This is therefore another good album from this band and one to be enjoyed. Check it out.
