Stray - Mudanzas (1973)

The fourth album from this English band.

The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, ukulele, guitars and vocals.

This album is their socalled progressive rock album. An album the band spent and overspent their studio budget with zillions....well, several thousands of pounds... to record and finish. It is said that some of these zillions came from the English mob at that time. That include the Kray Twins and his brother.

I had really been looking forward to find out if the Kray Twins had invested wisely.

The answer is no as this album was a flop in all senses of the word.

The progressive rock aspect here is the inclusion of some piano and a couple of songs which is a bit slow down. They are leaning more towards pop and soul than progressive rock.

The album is a mix of teenybopper pop, soul and harder rock.

The quality is decent enough but there is nothing here which is improvements on previous albums. It is slightly different from the other albums, but not an improvement.
