Millenium - MMXVIII (2018)

The 13th album from this band from Poland.

The band is a sextet on this album with a lineup of saxophone, guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals.

This is not really a new Millenium album. This is an album celebrating their record label Lynx Music's 20th anniversary. It has also been released to introduce their new vocalist Marek Smelkowski. I therefore should not have reviewed this album. But I discovered that too late so I will do a short review.

The vocalist does a great job on a couple of new songs and some older Millenium songs.

The older songs has got new arrangements and the new songs falls nicely into the kind of music this band has given us for the last album.

And that is neo-prog with some saxophones and AOR influences. You can read my reviews of their albums somewhere else in this blog.

There are no great tracks on this thirty-seven minutes long album and the songs are a bit short on quality. This is a decent to good album though.

I hope we will soon get a proper album from this band.
