The third album from this Swedish artist.
Kristoffer Gildenlow does the bass and vocals here himself.
He is supported by a long list of guest musicians who provides drums, bass, guitars, piano, brass, cello, synths and backing vocals.
Kristoffer is the ex bassist in Pain Of Salvation and has released three albums on his own.
I am not particular familiar with Pain Of Salvation. But I am certain that their music is pretty different from what Kristoffer is offering up here.
The music on Homebound is very pastoral and singer/songwriter based.
The music is his vocals with one or two instruments. That's really it.
That means the songs really have to be good.
They are not.
They are instead full of cliches and unoriginal ideas. Kristoffer is walking down the path so many others has been walking before him since the dawn of time.
This is a decent album but nothing more than that.
