The debut album from this Swedish band.
The band is a sextet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals. Both female and male vocals.
This band is new but the members has been around and in the Swedish prog and metal prog scene for a long time.
What we get is also a mix of Swedish symphonic prog and Swedish progressive metal.
There is a lot of Kaipa, the last albums, references on this album. In particular in the female vocals and some of the music.
There is also some pretty light progressive metal here with references to the bigger Swedish bands in that scene.
The music is melodic and full of interesting details. Details with some hints of folk rock too.
This is an album which will spread joy and happiness among those who like the special Swedish symphonic prog sound and music. That is what this album basically is. And we get an hour of this music too.
It is a very good album in it's own right and one to really check out.
