Hanagaria - Court Of Hallucinations (2016)

The one and only album from this band from Israel.

The band is a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, keyboards, synths, samples, programming, bass, guitars and vocals.

This is a totally unknown band to me and most others too. I have not seen any reviews of this album anywhere else. I may have not been looking hard enough to find reviews.

Their music is a mix of vaudeville rock, indie rock, jazz, Marillion, Van Der Graaf Generator, King Crimson and some chamber orchestra avant-garde rock.

The music is eclectic prog in other words.

It is also pretty melodic with some quirky melodies and themes during this fifty-five minutes long album.

The vocals are a bit atonal and adds a lot of colors to this album. Ditto for the organ sound.

I quite like this album and regard it as forgotten and undervalued.

This is indeed a good album and one to be checked out by everyone into eclectic progressive rock.
