Mundi Domini - Mundi Domini (2002)

The one and only album from this band from Canada.

The band was a sextet with a lineup of percussion, bass, guitars, piano, accordion, piccolo, flute, sitar, narration and male & female vocals.

This is another band from the Quebec scene in the French speaking part of Canada. The band played some festivals and recorded this album before they split up.

Good references are Harmonium and Maneige in that respect.

This fifty minutes long album is much more a folk music based album than a rock and fusion album. There is not much rock here.

The music is also very bombastic with a lot of thunder and lightening vocals. Both male and female vocals. The music itself is also bombastic.

Mostly bombastic, that is.

The result is a decent album who does not have any good songs. It is an album for the Quebec scene fans and collectors..... and mostly them.
