Coalition - Bridge Across Time (2016)

The second album from this English band.

The band is a trio on this album with a lineup of orchestration, guitars, keyboards, bass, drums and vocals.

The band has released three albums and I got this album on the basis of the quality of their third album, the Reading Gaol concept album.

Coalition started out as a decent neo-prog band. They very much went a bit towards symphonic prog after their debut album.

Bridge Across Time is a neo-prog album with very strong symphonic prog influences. It is by all means a symphonic prog album.

The vocals is slightly distorted, but still good. There is a lot of good keyboards and guitars too on this album.

The music is both melodic and epic at the same time. There is a lot of good hooks here too.

This album is very long.... seventy-seven minutes long. Not all music here is good. Nevertheless, there are some very good music here too and some decent music. Most of this album contains some really good music. Music which really should please everyone into epic neo-prog. Check it out.
