Grace - Grace (1979)

The debut album from this British band.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of moog, keyboards, guitars, bass, drums, percussion and vocals.
Three guest musicians provided flute, saxophone, moog, drums, percussion and guitars.

This band has been operating well below the radar since they released this debut album. Their last, fifth album, was released last year and will be reviewed later in this blog.

I have reviewed their other three albums for # 1 of this blog and have found these albums reasonable interesting.

We are in the neo-prog land when it comes to this band.

Their debut album is a pre-neo-prog album with a lot of pop and rock inbetween some progressive rock.

The music is catchy but also naive and not so rich in texture. The vocals are OK but not particular endearing.

This is a decent enough album but nothing more than that.
