Jade Warrior - Breathing The Storm (1992)

The tenth album from this British band.

Jade Warrior was a trio on this album with a lineup of guitars, bass, keyboards, synths, programming, percussion and flutes.

Jade Warrior.... what can I say since this is the final album of them I am reviewing ?

The first five Jade Warrior albums were very lush.  Floating World, Waves, Kites and Way Of Sun is pretty much classic albums.

Then the rot set in and we get more pure ambient albums.

This album sees the band adding a bit more textures to their ambient music. There are some Far-East music added to the ambient music too and the result is an improvement.

After a very slow start, the album gets a lot of added textures in the form of electric guitars and synths. The tempo is never faster than very slow. Ambient, it is.

This fifty minutes long album has some interesting music and it is an OK album.

The album never becomes any good and it is nowhere near as good as their best albums. Check it out if ambient music is your genre.
