Strange Land - Galactic Drift: Impact Event Part Two (2018)

The sixth album from this US band.

The band is a duo with a female vocalist backed up by one guy who does the guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and some background vocals.

To say that I disliked their fifth album, Part One in this series, is an understatement. It is a true turkey.

They still soldiers on and their sixth album gives us the same genre.

That is US neo-prog.

There is also some symphonic prog and a lot of metal here too. Some of the metal is very harsh and dissonant.

The music is a lot better this time around and there are even some sporadic hints of good music here. Not many, but enough to make me believe this band is nowhere near hopeless.

This fifty minutes long album is a decent enough album and perhaps worth checking out.
