Colt - From The Fridge (2002)
The one and only album from this Polish band.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, percussions, organ, piano, bass, guitars and vocals.
They had help from a guest musician on one track who provided flute.
This band came and went without making much of an impact. They are very much an obscure band.
Their music is hard rock. Hard rock with some krautrock, blues and progressive rock leanings.
Most of all, the music is hard.
There are some Led Zeppelin influences here. But not much. The vocals is really bluesy and in the krautrock vein.
This three quarter of an hour long album has this 1970s hard rock feel and is very much a retro album. The sound is good too. That is the good things about this album.
The bad thing is that there is barely a decent song here. The Hammond organ is cool when it gets some space here inbetween the not so good guitars and vocals.
In short, this is a substandard album and not much to write about. Hence my rating.
