The 12th album from this Dutch band.
The band is a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
This album has two songs. The first clocks in at thirty-two minutes and the second one clocks in at twenty-one minutes.
Having longer songs is something the band started with some albums ago. Their previous album Lindisfarne also had long songs. Their eight album Feeding The Crocodile had a song, the title track, clocking in at forty-three minutes.
This is the road Us has been traveling for some albums.
The music is more based on vocals than instruments. The sound is pretty thin and very much neo-prog like. As I alluded to on my review of Lindisfarne, a bit of a more beefed up sound would had benefited their music a lot.
Their albums is written and recorded on a budget though and I feel that is an issue on this album.
The songs are not too bad. The first song are more flowery while the second song is much more epic.
This is a decent to good album from a band I think deserve a lot more attention. They are the hidden gems of Holland.
Check out this album.
