SBB - Follow My Dream (1978)
The seventh album from this Polish band.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitar, harmonica, clavinet, moog, electric piano, organ, mellotron and vocals.
The band's albums is slightly hit and miss. They were operating under the stalinist censorship and that made it difficult to write good stuff.
The music on this album has influences from the likes of Todd Rundgren (Utopia), Yes, Gong/Steve Hillage and the lines of Mahavishnu Orchestra.
There is a lot of symphonic prog and fusion themes here mixed up together.
The music is very epic throughout and uplifting.
It reaches for the sky and it has a great symphonic feel.
The end result is a good album which cement's their reputation as a very interesting band.
This is indeed a good album and one to check out.
