Bull Angus - Bull Angus (1971)

The debut album from this US band.

The band was a sextet with a lineup of percussion, drums, bass, guitars, organ, piano and vocals.

This band was a short lived band who released two albums before they gave up the ghost and were disbanded.

Their two albums, listening copies are available on Youtube, is well worth checking out. I am reviewing their second album next week too.

Bull Angus is a forty-two minutes long album. The music is very hard at times and mostly hard.

The music is a mix of hard rock, psych rock, southern rock and progressive rock.... strangely enough. The music is not as all out hard rocking as I did expect after the first ten minutes of this album. Look past these ten minutes and check the rest of the album.

There are some decent, interesting stuff on the rest of the album.

The vocals are really good but the music is not overly interesting. This is still a decent enough album and well worth checking out.
