The band is a sextet on this album with a lineup of drums, percussion, piano, keyboards, bass, guitars and Italian vocals.
Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso is legends in the prog rock scene. It is one of the best and biggest bands ever to come from Italy.
I thought the band was history long time ago after their AOR albums. But no....... and that was followed by a very big positive surprise when I heard that the band had returned to their roots.
RPI....Rock Progressive Italiano.... This band was one of those who gave us this genre and the best albums from this genre. And the band has with this album returned to this genre.

The vocals are very good and the first songs proves that the band has indeed returned to their roots. That is pastoral RPI.
That means a bit slow and melancholic RPI too. This is a concept album too. And the art-work leaves no doubts that the band is back too.... well, at least for this album.
There is no great songs here on this one hour long album. Nevertheless, this is a very good album and a very big positive surprise. It is also their best album for a very long time. Bravo !!!
