The seventh album from this British band.
The band is a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
I was not impressed by their previous album, the 2019 album Svengali. A pretty dull ambient psych rock album.
The band returned again this year with a different genre and lineup. A bigger band too.
The music here is neo-prog in the same vein as these days Marillion. A mix of neo-prog and art-rock in other words.
The music is melodic with a touch of Pink Floyd and psych rock too added to the mix of art rock and neo-prog.
The songs are pretty long on this fifty-five minutes long album.
The vocals are good and ditto for the guitar harmonies and solos. There is no great tracks here and tha is a bit of a shame.
That aside, this is a good album.
