Final Conflict - The Rise of the Artisan (2020)

The eight album from this British band.

The band is a seven piece band on this album with a lineup of guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, backing vocals and vocals.

The drummer on this album is strictly speaking a hired hand. But he is still very much in the sound.

This band debuted back in 1987 and their discography is full of long breaks. This time, it is eight years since their last album Return Of The Artisan. A very good album.

The band has never been one of the leading neo-prog bands. It is still a respected band.

The music on this album is pure neo-prog with a slightly modern sound.

The sound and vocals are really good.

The songs are not particular long. But most of them has some good details and melody lines.

There is no really bad songs here or even some bad pop here. The band stays true to their neo-prog roots and delivers a neo-prog album.

There is no great songs here. The quality is good throughout and fans of neo-prog should get this album.
