TumbleTown - Done With The Coldness (2013)
The debut album from this band from Holland.
The band is a duo of Han Uil and Aldo Adema. The lineup is programming, guitars, bass and vocals.
Three other musicians helped out on keyboards, bass and female vocals.
This duo has experiences from bands like Antares, Egdon Heath, Seven Day Hunt and solo work. They are well experienced and they have so far released two albums as TumbleTown.
Their music is pretty much standard neo-prog.
That means muscular neo-prog with a lot of progressive metal influences.
The music is really epic and majestic. There is a lot of programming with strings and drums in their music. Music not for those who like their neo-prog light and poppy.
The vocals are really good so no complaints there.
The music is really elegant too and will really please those into epic neo-prog.
My only gripe is the lack of any really good songs here. The quality is somewhere between decent and good. I would still recommend this album.
