Glutton. The - Eating Music (2019)

The third album from this Norwegian band.

The band is a trio with a lineup of guitars, drums, bass and vocals.
The band had help from some guest musicians providing synths, samples, woodwinds and strings.

This is their third album from this band. I gave their debut album a miss but reviewed their second album.

Their music is basically indie rock with some influences from the likes of Rush and the post-rock scene.

There is also a lot of Gazpacho influences on this fifty minutes long album. Ditto for some industrial post-metal and some hints of Marillion too.

The vocals is multi-faceted and sometimes distorted.

The sound is pretty open and clearly very modern.

This album is decent enough but it fails to really win me over as a more traditional progressive rock fan.

Fans of indie and post-rock will like this album a lot more than I do.
