The fourth album from this US band.
The band is a trio with a lineup of guitars, samples, percussion, bass, drums and vocals.
They are helped out by numerous musicians who has provided cello, violin, viola, flute, trumpet, French horn, saxophone, percussion, wolves growls (!!) and vocals.
The band has released four albums since 2009 and they are all unreviewed in ProgArchives. Which is not fair as the band deserves some attention.
Mythology has fused vaudeville pop, prog rock, jazz, college rock, progressive metal and rock into their own music.
The music is lively and full of energy. There is a lot of things going on during this one hour with this band.
There is a lot of jazz vibes....... the vocals has a strong jazz vibe and ditto for the woodwinds.
There are also some progressive metal here too.
This is a youthful, happy album.
The quality is not the best and it is really hard to find the good music here. But there are some. There are also some decent music here and this album is by no means a waste of time. This is a band well worth checking out.
