Crystal Phoenix - Crystal Phoenix (1989)

The debut album from this Italian band.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, flute, synths and vocals.

The band released two albums between 1989 and 2003 through Black Widow Records before they called it a day.

I reviewed their second album back in October 2010 and it has taken me more than ten years to revisit the band for a review of their debut album. Hmmm......

Their main force was ms. Myriam Saglimbeni on vocals and guitars. Her vocals is not good at all. Her vocals are in heavy accented English.

The music is a mix of metal, prog and folk rock. Mostly metal.

The music sounds as cheap as the front cover art-work. The sound is thin. The cliches comes thick and fast.

There is no quality in the music and this album is fully fat turkey. Avoid.
