Colour Haze - Los Sounds De Krauts (2003)

The fifth album from this German band.

The band is a trio with a lineup of bass, drums, guitars and vocals.
The band had help from two guest musicians who provided piano and organ.

The band is now an established space rock band who delivers the goods on every album. They are by this album one of the stars of this genre.

Los Sounds De Krauts sees the band on a double album. That means over two hours of space rock with a lot of krautrock influences too.

The sound and music on this album also incorporates some of the Manchester scene electronica and pop. Happy Mondays springs to mind and Colour Haze is pretty close to Happy Mondays on some tracks.

That is not a bad thing though. It just shows that the band really care about themselves and their music. That they are eager to expand and take some risks.

This album is indeed Colour Haze on a bit lighter and brighter side of life. The music is still good though and fans of this band will really like and appreciate this album. I am fast turning into a fan of this band myself.......
