Glasswing - Univariate (2017)

The debut album from this US band.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of synths, bass, drums, percussion and vocals.

I have never heard about this band before this album came up for review. They have released two albums and the last one was released last year.

This album is eighty minutes long.

The album is a mix of ambient drones, thrash metal, funk metal, funk, some hard progressive rock, progressive metal and some rock.

The vocals are pretty awful and the band is not really good either.

This album sounds more like a random collection of songs and genres than a proper album of songs and pieces of music. As most of it is hard heavy metal'ish music, I am not really that interested either.

Worst of all, the music is bad hard heavy metal'ish music too.

This album is simply a dud and a turkey. I wondered why so few had reviewed this album before I started to listen to this album. Now I know.
