Arc - At This (1971)

The debut album from this British band.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, organ, piano, guitars and vocals.

This band released two albums, both in 1971, before they split up. Both has been re-released on CD through Esoteric Records some years ago. The original albums, the LPs, was released through Decca. I guess as a loss project as this band never really made it big.

I do not have their second album so I cannot comment on that album at all. The band members did not do anything after Arc split up.

This band is one of those bands, and there is many of those bands, who combines blues and prog rock.

There is something more to this album than just prog rock and blues.

There is a lot of pop here too. Some old style English pop and some folk rock.

There is a lot of variations on this album and that is not a bad thing.

There is not much quality here though....

Nevertheless, this is a decent enough album and well worth tracking down for those into early British prog rock and rock.
