Astral Son - Mind's Eye (2016)

The third album from this Dutch one-man band.

Leonardo Soundweaver is the man here and he creates his music with drums programming, synths, bass, guitars, organ, tamboora and vocals.

I reviewed the 2015 album Silver Moon back in January 2016 for # 1 of this blog and liked that album a lot.

The music is space rock of the more outer space take on space rock.

There is a lot of early Hawkwind and Pink Floyd in their music. The music is pretty flowery and psychedelic in it's form and not so ugly. The painting by Leonardo Soundweaver himself kind of gives the game away.

The music is also groovy as heck with the vocals also working as an instrument. There is a lot of post rock too in the music.

The music on this three quarters of an hour long album is cool enough. Really cool.

It is still slightly a step backwards in quality from their second album. It is still good enough to really please a space cadet. Check it out.
