Paladin - Charge! (1972)
The second album from this English band.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of organ, grand piano, piano, bass, guitars, violin, drums, percussion and vocals.
This band released three albums before they gave up the ghost. Two albums between 1971 and 1972. The third and final one, to be released later this fall, was released in 2002.
The band was one of many British bands operating in the landscape between rock, hard rock, fusion, blues and prog rock in those years.
On the top of that scene, you had the likes of Led Zeppelin and The Who. Paladin was a long was from them in popularity.
All above applies to this album. There is also some psych in their music too. And a couple of melodic tracks.
The vocals and the sound is good. The musicians does their best too.
This forty minutes long album gives us plenty of good British rock and the Roger Dean artwork also adds a good feel factor to this album.
There is three good songs and some not so good ones. In short, this is a decent to good album.
