The third album from this English artist.
David Minasian plays numerous instruments including keyboards, guitars, bass, woodwinds, strings, melotron, moog and vocals himself.
Five guest musicians including Andy Latimer from Camel contributes to this album with drums, guitars and vocals.
David Minasian releases album every ten years or so. He released one earlier this year, ten years after the release of this album.
David Minasian is heavy involved in so many other project that finding quality me-time may be a problem here.
Random Acts Of Beauty is symphonic prog in the vein of both Camel and Steve Hackett. There is also a lot of classical music and cinematic music references on this one hour long album.
The musicians does a very good job on this good album. There is no killer themes or tracks here and that is a bit of a shame.
That said, this is a solid good album well worth checking out.
