The band was a sextet on this album with a lineup of keyboards, percussion, drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
The band who debuted in 1968 with their very good psych rock album is only in the name the same band as is giving us this album.
The music on this album is very far away from their psych rock era and their symphonic prog era.
The music here is a bit of Darts like rockabilly and dobop to teenybop and rock/pop.
The music is a throwback to the pop music anno the 1930s and the 1940s.
The vocals and the musicians is OK.
The music is pretty dire and not particular appealing. This album is a turkey and there is nothing good to be found here.
Which is a great shame as I really like their first albums. Os Mutantes was indeed a great band.
