Colour Haze - Ewige Blumenkraft (2001)

The fourth album from this German band.

The band is a trio with a lineup of bass, drums, guitars and vocals.

Colour Haze is a band that has entertained me on the first albums I have heard from them. Even on their insecure steps on the two first albums.

The band found their form and style on their third album. A very good album. You can read the reviews somewhere else in this blog.

The band does a dirty, but still melodic type of space rock. That is the best label I can put on their music.

The sound and vocals are really dirty. There are still a lot of melody in their music though. Not enough melody for the music to cross over to psych rock...... but still enough melody to make each song stand out.

That is important on a seventy-five minutes long album.

The melodies are also quirky and full of interesting ideas. That too makes this album interesting, indeed.

The band has again delivered a good album where my only gripe is the lack of a great song or two. Besides of that, the band has delivered the goods.
