Majestic - String Theory (2008)

The second album from this US one man project.

The band is Jeff Hamel on drums, percussion, guitar, keyboards and vocals.
He got some help on vocals and flute.

I reviewed the latest Majestic albums and then found this album somewhere. So I am now returning to the band to review this album.

This album is seventy minutes long.

The music is a mix of symphonic prog and neo-prog. US symphonic prog and neo-prog, that is.

Everything is bold and big on this album. Bombastic too.

There are still some pastoral parts on this album.

Jeff Hamel was still developing as a composer and was not still on the mark and on the target.

This is a melodic album with some decent to good songs. I am not won over but the band has later become good. So no worries, then.
