Lunar Chateau - Beyond The Reach Of Dreams (2001)

The second and final album from this US band.

The band was a trio with a lineup of bass, drums, keyboards and vocals.

The band is the brothers Paul, Novak and Milo Sekulovich. A true family affair and cooperation.

Their 1994 self-titled debut album did not create any waves and neither did this album.

I have never heard about this band before I spotted them in ProgArchives, read some reviews and decided to check them out. I am now in the market for their debut album too.

The album starts out as an ELP like symphonic prog and it returns to this reference quite frequently during this album.

We also get a lot of neo-prog and some fusion along the way.

The keyboards are really good and so is the vocals.

I have some slight doubts about the quality of the songs on this album. Nevertheless, this is a good album and a hidden gem more people should check out.
