Quercunian Camerata - Ponce (2017)

The second album from this Spanish band.

The band is a quintet with a lineup of vibraphone, keyboards, guitars, bass, drums and vocals.
Two guest musicians provides flute and keyboards.

This album is only a twenty-one minutes long EP and you can download it from here.

It is a release well worth reviewing and checking out though.

I also liked their debut album Prometeia a lot and this band has my ears.

The music  here is a mix of folk rock, medieval folk music, baroque music and symphonic rock. That with a Spanish sound and English vocals.

The vocals are really good although with a pretty heavy Spanish accent.

The music has some nice flute and guitars. The music is also pastoral and not technical.

This is an EP and it is short. This is still a good release and well worth downloading. Let us hope the band is still around and more albums will be released.
