Univers Zero - Ceux Du Dehors (1981)

The third album from this band from Belgium.

The band is a quintet with a lineup of harmonium, drums, percussion, cymbals, violin, bass, clarinet, English horn, bassoon, oboe, viola, glockenspiel, church organ, moog, piano, organ, keyboard and vocals.

Univers Zero is an unique band who operates totally outside the frameworks of modern rhythmic music..... also called rock and pop.

Their music is avant-garde chamber music.

It is also an album full of pretty dark and disturbing music. Most of the fifty minutes long album contains dark and gloomy music. That with the full use of their instruments.

Some of their rhythms are pretty zeuhl like too.

This is  not easy listening music. The final track Triomphe Des Mouche is a very good track with some really dark vibes.

As per usual with the albums from this band, their albums is a difficult to understand for a person with a background from prog........ read rock and pop....... Nevertheless, this is a good album and one I really like.

My collection of Univers Zero and Present albums is a collection I think  I will like more and more in the future.
