Sunrise Auranaut - Way Of The King (2013)

The second album from this Russian one man band.

Sunrise Auranaut is Vitaly Kiselev on all instruments. I hear synths, flutes, guitars, bass and drums here. The latter one is programmed drums.

One-man-bands is something we have got a lot of from Russia (and Ukraine). Little Tragedies is one of the bands and they are comparable in style with Sunrise Auranaut.

Vitaly Kiselev follows in the Russian tradition in other words.

The music is based on keyboards and it is some form of symphonic prog with some classical music inspirations.

The keyboards sound is very good. It is strange how much the sound drops in quality when the electric guitar enters a melody. The guitar sound is pretty poor and totally out of tune with the rest of the music.

The acoustic guitars are OK though.....

This album clocks in at forty-five minutes and it is a bit difficult to find any good things to say about the music. It is OK and it does not shame anyone.

This is a decent album and that is it.
