Reign of Kindo. The - Happy However After (2018)

The fourth album from this US band if I am not much mistaken.

The band is a quintet with a lineup of synths, bass, drums, guitars, percussion, woodwinds and vocals.

The band is totally unknown to me, but I know they comes from Brooklyn in New York.

... Which may explain their music too.

The music is very metropolitan to say at least. Take funk, electronica, brass dominated fusion, pop music, progressive rock and some jazz. The result is somewhere near this forty-seven minutes long album.

The band nicely mixes boyband pop type naive songs with fusion and jazz. The vocals is really elegant and sits on the top of some really elegant music.

There is also a lot of funk here and some woodwinds which sounds very smokey and classy.

This album is an elegant coctail and it has a lot to offer. This is not really my type of music. But quality is quality. And the music here is really good.

My only gripe is the lack of any great songs here. That aside, this is a good album.
